Langley children’s authors Bruce Kilby and Ken Johnson will be at a few upcoming events in the Pacific Northwest, throughout the month of August:
Arts Alive – Langley, BC
Saturday, August 20th
10 am to 5 pm
The festival takes place along Fraser Highway between 204th & 206th Streets!
With over 200 visual and performing artists, this “must attend festival” has become a signature event in the Lower Mainland. This free, family event features live musical performances, authors, artists and artisans showcasing a myriad of mediums, live demonstrations, a children’s venue and special performance surprises throughout the day!
Visual Artists & Artisans: Exciting new work from the finest painters, potters, sculptors and jewellery designers.
Arts Alive Showcase Stage: All-day musical performances in McBurney Plaza
Children’s Fun Park: Balloon twisters, face painters, bouncy castles, a FREE photo booth, chalk art & more!
Drayton Harbor Days – Blaine,WA
Saturday August 6th & Sunday August 7th
10am – 5pm
On the first Saturday and Sunday every August, Drayton Harbor Days Waterfront Festival brings together family, friends, and the community for a celebration of Maritime fun.
There are arts & crafts vendors, authors, kid’s activities, Plover ferry rides, boat displays and more.
All events this year will take place at the Blaine Marina – 235 Marine Drive, in Blaine… just off 1-5, exit 276.
